I will be teaching classes of Reggaeton and Power Step on Saturday the 25th of October so if you haven’t tried these classes before here’s your opportunity to find out more about them.

What is REGGAETON?

Originated from dancehall, Reggaeton is a simple, but effective dance form mixing hip hop, aerobic and salsa basic moves using tunes, which have roots in Latin and Caribbean music. Super energetic as well as sexy and sensual leaving you totally breathless. Regardless of your training level or your age this is a class for you, a sensational workout mixed with fun, dance and choreography.

What is POWER STEP?

This class is suitable for everyone, who like to follow choreographies and not only challenge their body but also their brain. Perfect for cardio resistance as well as beautifully shaped legs.

Drop into my Reggaeton in Sports Hall at 12:30pm and Power Step in Aerobic Studio 1 at 2:30pm.

Looking forward to seeing you in my classes!

Japan Tour September 2014

I am just back from Japan and I decided to write a little bit about my wonderful trip to share those moments with you as well. First few days were spent in Hamamatsu more specifically in Popstar Club, where I had a super nice group of people to work with for Euroeducation Urban Reggaeton course. All these lovely people below were sensational to work with over 2 long days and they seem more than happy with the certificates received. Even that much that I got a huge sloppy kiss ;-)

It was actually a very interesting experience as I got to teach this course in Spanish. My first time ever in another language besides my mother tongue Estonian and English of course. The reason being Popstar Club Katia Nishimura is actually half Brazilian half Japanese yet we communicate in Spanish. This snap is taken half way through our first day.

After 2 days of hard work and a lot of fun of course was time for even more fun as Popstar Club had planned a charity event full of classes like Reggaeton, GlamDance, Zumba and more. Twice during the day the classes were held with a live band and I actually got to teach the Reggaeton team class with Katia with a very funky looking Cuban trio Los Cativos. Of course they had their very own stage yet we managed to get the boys to join us for the final show and cool down and the screams from the dance floor made it clear that it was the only way to finish the day.

Up next was Tokyo. In a great little dance studio I got to work with many great teachers as well as dance lovers and also experience an earthquake. Did you know that there is an earthquake in Japan in every 2-3 days? This one fortunately lasted only several minutes making the lights of the studio visibly move and we were all ready to run out in case it continued or got stronger. Another first for me during this trip ;-)

Of course we had to get several selfies taken and this one was for finishing up our 2nd UR course in Tokyo.

Goodbye to Katia and her beautiful daughter Brenda, who by the way put on a stunning popping-locking show on Hamamatsu Charity Event, was short and sweet as these 2 beautiful ladies had to leave us for the last night in Tokyo.

Yet again I had a great week in Japan with many beautiful moments, a lot of hard work and mouthwatering food and I really hope to be back there soon again as this country is seriously interesting experience in so many ways.

Thank you to Popstar Club and Katia for such an amazing trip and of course to everyone, who took part of UR courses and charity event and loads of love from good old Dublin to you!

Barcelona was fun!

What a beautiful weekend just gone in Barcelona on one of the most exciting Euroconvention events of the year this was. Highlights – totally wet like in the sauna due to air conditioning units, slippery floors as well as stage (use your fantasy to figure out what could have happened), totally awesome 3 days of fitness and dance, crazy Saturday night after-party with South-American rhythms and moves… In one word – SUPERB! Next year is on the way…

Have a look at the videos below and feel free to leave some comments!

Euro Fitnessmania Dublin 2013

It’s over! Euro Fitnessmania Dublin 2013 is over and all the positive feelings gathered still lingering in the system. What a wonderful event with all of you and with our amazing cast including Erle Liivak from Estonia/Ireland, Daniele Pietrini/Italy, Robert Cielecki Poland/Ireland and Iwona Nowak-Lakoma from Poland/Ireland. THANK YOU ALL!

Our event started with a Welcome Dance getting those up bright and early right into it and which challenged the body as well as mind. Robert’s Aerobox brought everything to the next level. Not only is this class a good cardio workout, but it works on your upper body as well as on lower body toning as hell. Definitely a class to participate! Easy routine, but super effective designed to leave you breathless! Erle’s Reggae got all the “booty shakers” totally smashed as the choreography highlight “floor work with a triceps dip as well as with a push-up”  got even the strongest ones out of breath. Follow her weekly Reggaeton classes, if you are looking for strong legs and core and have an absolutely fabulous dance workout. Daniele’s Step was as flowing and relaxed as ever with participants smiling and giggling away with the excitement of being able to follow and have their brain challenged at the same time. A “must have” on your next convention! Our new talent – Iwona Nowak-Lakoma is moving strong with a fast rising profile in a fitness industry and who’s Step happened to be a one of a kind. Want a real challenge, take a class with her!
