Halloween aka The Pagan holiday Samhain is also known as the Day of the Dead and is celebrated on the 31st of October, which this year conveniently falls on the day of our classes in Dance Ireland. This is a happy holiday (even though it celebrates ‘Death’) and it’s the day that the souls of dead people are believed to come back to Earth.

As such we are gonna celebrate this special day by dressing up for our classes. Dress code - wherever the wind blows you!

PS! Interesting fact about Halloween… (perhaps it will give you an idea for your costume)

Black and orange are typically associated with Halloween. Orange is a symbol of strength and endurance, and along with brown and gold, stands for the harvest of autumn. Black is typically a symbol of death and darkness and acts as a reminder that Halloween once was a festival that marked the boundaries of life and death.
